Our hand-crafted lightweight tartan shawls are based on authentic designs registered with the Scottish Government Tartan Registry. They are woven from 100% cotton in a classic twill weave, and this gives the fabric a wonderful depth and softness. At a generous 80x100cms this light as a feather shawl can be worn as a large scarf or draped around the shoulders for that touch of warmth on cooler evenings. Tartan can be worn casually or formally, perhaps at an occasion with a Celtic theme, and as our tartan shawls come beautifully boxed, they are ready for gifting.
